The weather is unpredictable and changible over the mountains. Usually the dry season in Cusco is from April to October and the rainy season from november to march, but this does not stop
rain from falling in June or the sun from coming out in December, so just be prepared. Does not matter what month you are doing the trek, make sure that you have rain gear that includes a
waterproof jacket, pants, poncho, and waterproof gloves. A lot of people forget about gloves, but being cold and wet makes hiking very unpleasant. Also, be ready for four seasons as Peru has 88 microclimates of the 118 on the world and in our hikes there is a lot of them.
Be sure you have protected your travel investment, we highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. Getting travel insurance before you leave home is strongly encouraged and very easy.
